Vratsa Treasures Exhibition

Explore the renovated exhibition "Vratsa Treasures" at the Regional Historical Museum - Vratsa, a wonderful opportunity to witness the traditional goldsmith art of the region presented in a modern and interactive space.

The "Vratsa Treasures" exhibition brings together over 300 diverse objects from Antiquity, the Middle Ages, and the Revival period, made of gold, silver, and bronze. Visitors of all ages, nationalities, and levels of knowledge can enjoy an unforgettable cultural and educational experience that touches four of the five senses - sight, hearing, smell, and touch.

Visitors can smell the aroma of laurel trees, become part of the mystery of a Thracian ritual through a video narrative, and touch the fine workmanship of Revival-era jewelry. A sound panorama subtly separates guests from the present and smoothly transports them through over 25 centuries of history.

The project was implemented by the architectural studio Atelier 3 Architects, with the financial support of the America for Bulgaria Foundation in partnership with the Municipality of Vratsa and the Regional Historical Museum - Vratsa, and is in line with leading global museum standards.
