From the center of the Medkovets quarter, go out to the end houses in its highest part, turn left and cross the stream in Medkovski dol. Here begins a stony road, which, with numerous serpentines and direct paths crossing the bends, leads to the gorge under Mount Sveta Gora. The road enters a forest and leads past several barns to a karst spring. From here, the path climbs through a pine forest and then through a wide meadow with young pine plantations and leads to a road in the Tsarevo livage area. Continue through the areas of Izbata and Kleno and reach the monument at Okolchitsa peak.
