Ledenika Cave is one of the most visited caves in Bulgaria. It is open to visitors all year round. It is located 16 km from Vratsa. There is an asphalt road to it, which passes through the Vratsata Pass, winds along the rocks and forest masses of the Vratsa Balkan and reaches the very entrance of the cave, which is located at 830 m above sea level in the lowest part of the Ledenika Uval. The cave is 320 m long and has 10 halls. It received its first visitors in 1961. It owes its name to the extraordinary ice decoration - ice stalagmites, stalactites and stalactons forming in the first two halls in winter. In the first hall, the temperature drops to minus 20 degrees and a huge ice column forms. This is a phenomenon, as the temperature in the cave itself is constant at around 8-16 degrees. The humidity is 92%. With its numerous formations, figures and draperies - "The Lake of Wishes", "The Passage of Sinners", etc., the cave is one of the most beautiful in the country. The most attractive cave hall in the Balkans is also located here - the "Concert Hall", which has incredible acoustics. The Vratsa Philharmonic performs symphonic concerts in it. From here, iron bridges cross the Small and Large Abyss, through the "Curtains" corridor and reach the "White Hall". The highest point in the "Glacier" is called the "Seventh Heaven".

The cave is one of the 100 National Tourist Sites of Bulgaria. 

Ledenica Amusement Park has been in operation since 2014. It was created under the European project "Tourism without seasons", together with the municipality of Vratsa - on the basis of the natural phenomenon of the cave "Ledenika". It is located next to the cave and includes a visitor center with expositions about the cave and the Vrachanski Balkan Nature Park, a rope park, an alpine climbing wall, an amphitheater, a theme fairy-tale park, etc. The visitor centre offers walks along eco-trails, sports games and competitions for children and youth, artistic events related to the natural features of the Vrachanski Balkan Nature Park, quizzes, carnivals, photo-plainers on a given theme, birthday parties and many other entertainments.

• Winter working hours - from 9:00 to 17:00, last entry at 16:00;
• Summer work hours - from 9:00 to 18:00, last entry at 17:00.

*Important: Entry to the cave takes place every round hour with a guide and at least two adult visitors.

• The amusement park and the Ice Cave are open all year round;
• The temperature is between 8-16 degrees and it is recommended to wear outerwear as well as appropriate footwear for the mountain;
